Project developed by Karolina Sulich as her Master Thesis was recognized as one of 8 Top projects at Bio Design Challenge 2024.
Karolina presented at Museum of Modern Art in New York her project field-deployable, low-cost biosensor based on Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP-PCR) technology for detecting heavy metal contamination in the Gowanus Canal Superfund site.
Project was also exhibited at Parsons during Bio Design Challenge exhibition.
Project was developed in close collaboration and inspired by Dr. Elizabeth Henaff head of Living Interface Laboratory.
