Microbial Metrics and collaborative interfaces across scales and species - talk with Dr. Elizabeth Hénaff
Dr. Elizabeth Hénaff’s talk, entitled “Microbial Metrics and Collaborative Interfaces across Scales and Species” will discuss the ongoingness of the relationship between humans – and multicellular organisms at large – with the invisible, ubiquitous biological component of our landscapes which is the environmental microbiome. Dr. Elizabeth Hénaff is a computational biologist with an art practice. Her research focuses on the ubiquitous and invisible environmental microbiome, and its relationship to anthropogenic environments. Her practice manifests as scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals, scholarly writing, and artworks shown nationally and internationally. She is an Assistant Professor at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering.
