Urban Soil Institute Symposium 2025 in New York
Urban Soils Symposium is the Urban Soils Institute’s annual gathering designed as a platform rather than a conventional conference. The core idea is cross-disciplinary exchange, where soils are treated as a shared language across practice areas, and the format is intentionally “informative, collaborative, and experiential.” The symposium invites artists, researchers, environmental professionals, growers, community members, government representatives, and citizen scientists, often under the broader theme “Metabolism of Cities & Soils.”
Elizabeth Hénaff, and Karolina Sulich presented their recent research during the symposium, and took part in the panel discussion.
